Important note: Imagine if these last 100 or 200 files were all from my actual laptop dropbox and all recent and newly synced. in my case, it seems like an only solution to finally free up space. in my case, i have to get rid of all these small pics in order to find any big files to get rid of. as soon as i start deleting then the older ones start appearing. its about the last 100 files that were synced. also the same page doesn't display every file at once. it gave me the right directions so i noticed the issue and a solution although i still think its a bug or something that shouldn't be the way it is.įor the developers- please add the multiselection and page possibility so that i don't have to delete these thousands of files that i can't see anywhere else but under the Home menu.

Only issue that I see that on my pc dropbox, there might be large files that is linked with my account. i have dropbox linked with 3 devices (laptop, pc and phone). Also I have unlinked all bigger files that have been shared with me. I have checked the deleted files online and deleted these permanently. There are no additional files more than I have on my laptop folder (so there are only about these 4gb of files). When I delete the files I choose the option that delete these from every device. CTRL+A my laptop whole content of dropbox and it shows 4.17gb.

anyway the problem is similar- i have freed enough space but still my dropbox shows full (188%(16.43gb) of 8.7gb used).
although it seems like a common problem then there are no solution in my case. I have done some research about my issue a lot and its frustrating since I still cant fix my situation.
